I spearheaded a comprehensive redesign of Octagon's website, reflecting their unique role in connecting brands with fans through shared passions. The revamped site embodies Octagon's global leadership in sports, entertainment, and music, showcasing their dedication to engagement and inspiration.

Introduction
In early 2012, I began collaborating on the Octagon.com website redesign, starting with mood board creation. Recognizing my potential, my responsibilities quickly grew to encompass UI/UX exploration. Over two and a half months, I devoted over 100 hours to this project alongside my full-time design role.
The project culminated with the transfer of final designs to CMG, an IPG affiliate, who took on the development phase. This endeavor wasn’t without its challenges, including long nights, multiple design iterations, and the intricacies typical of corporate web development. However, these hurdles enriched my learning journey.
From the initial mood boards to the final website, the Octagon.com redesign has been one of the most enlightening experiences in my career, highlighting the comprehensive process of building a corporate website from the ground up.
Project Goals
The primary aim of the Octagon.com redesign was to develop a user interface characterized by its cleanliness, simplicity, and expressiveness. A significant emphasis was placed on heightening the user experience, aiming for maximum accessibility and intuitiveness. The design was conceived not just for passive viewing, but to ensure that every interaction was engaging.
Parallel to this, the design aspired to give bold and equal prominence to various facets of Octagon's offerings—whether it was their marketing campaigns, athlete profiles, influential personalities, or notable events. The intention was to provide a harmonized presentation where each component had its distinct yet balanced spotlight.
Integral to the redesign was the clear articulation of Octagon's brand identity. The website had to serve as an immediate reflection of both Octagon's broad range of services and the very essence of its brand ethos. It was not merely about listing services; it was about encapsulating what Octagon, at its core, represents.
Lastly, the redesign aimed to achieve a fine balance between emotion and practicality. While it was crucial to showcase the fervor and passion that drives Octagon, it was equally imperative to highlight the tangible, practical benefits that clients and partners would derive from the brand.
